I’ve always loved all sorts of art growing up and I majored in urban planning for a year in undergraduate. Despite going against my gut feeling, I decided to transfer my major to biology, and eventually ended up with a Ph.D. in neuroscience at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Yes, I always get the puzzled look and the question, “Why are you photographing weddings?” For me, documenting one of the most important days of your lives has been more rewarding, and I guess deep down in me, I just love being an artist! I love every aspect of weddings, from the gorgeous details to the raw emotions. I also love making new connections and truly adore all of my couples. My approach to your wedding is the perfect balance of an artistic photojournalistic style capturing real moments while simultaneously creating fine art portraits and stylized details.
DMA Public Garage. Underground parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis for a flat fee of $12, payable at time of entry. Access to the DMA’s underground parking garage is located off of N. St. Paul Street and Harwood Street (both are one way, south). Handicap-access parking spaces are located on Levels P1, P2, and P3 of the Museum’s parking garage. In the event that the Museum garage may be full, please review the map (link above) of nearby surface lots and garages that have reserved parking for Museum visitors. In addition to these locations, other parking exists throughout the downtown area.

Our Central Texas style BBQ is served meat market style! All of our freshly barbecued meats are served by weight on butcher paper with onions, pickles, jalapenos and white bread. Ms. Karen – Ms. Karen is MEA’s Executive Director/Head of School. Ms. Karen is AMS Montessori Certified Instructor and completed her training at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Boulder, Colorado. Ms Karen has been a primary directress at both Keystone Montessori and Montessori Educare Academy. Ms. Karen believes in the benefits of Montessori and has three children that have all attended Montessori schools. Ms. Karen’s son graduated from MEA in 2010. Ms. Karen’s favorite areas of the classroom are math and language.
